  • 3/4 cup warm milk (about 110°F)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk (as needed for consistency)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, instant yeast, and salt. In another bowl, combine warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Pour wet mixture into dry ingredients; stir until a soft dough forms.
  2. Knead on a floured surface until smooth (5-7 minutes). Place in greased bowl and let rise until doubled (about 1 hour).
  3. Prepare the cheesecake filling by mixing cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, chopped strawberries, and strawberry jam until smooth.
  4. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle. Spread cheesecake filling evenly over the dough.
  5. Mix softened butter with brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over filling. Roll tightly into a log and slice into individual rolls.
  6. Place rolls in a greased baking dish; cover and let rise again for about 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. For glaze: mix softened cream cheese with butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk as needed for consistency; drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
