  • 12 Tbs. mild chili powder
  • 4 oz. spaghetti or angel hair pasta, broken into thirds
  • 1 Tbs. granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • Shredded cheddar cheese (for garnishing)
  • Corn chips (for garnishing)
  • Sour cream (for garnishing)

Instructions

  1. Start by browning the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat until fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  2. Add the diced onions and sauté until they become translucent.
  3. Stir in the mild chili powder along with kosher salt and pepper, then pour in the tomato juice.
  4. Add the chili beans and broken pasta, stirring until well mixed.
  5. Cover the pot and let it simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes.
  6. Serve hot with garnishes of shredded cheddar cheese, corn chips, and sour cream, alongside warm cinnamon rolls.
