  • 1.5 lb chicken breast (or thighs)
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup dijon mustard
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter
  • 23 garlic cloves (minced)
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp corn starch (optional)
  • 4 Tbsp cold water (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, oregano, onion powder, and paprika.
  2. In a bowl, whisk honey, dijon mustard, melted butter, and minced garlic until smooth.
  3. Pour the sauce over the seasoned chicken in the crockpot.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for about 3 hours or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. Shred the chicken using two forks and stir in heavy cream about 30 minutes before serving.
