  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the Bundt pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and baking powder together.
  4. Gradually combine dry ingredients with sour cream into the butter-sugar mixture until smooth.
  5. Pour half the batter into the pan and sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over it. Repeat with remaining batter and topping; swirl gently with a knife.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
